IBM’s interesting approach to AI
IBM was for 50 years (1940-1990?) the world’s biggest manufacturer of computers, mostly for business. they made a 15 year foray into the world of personal computers, but went back to being a company that offers products and services to business users.
Like most everyone else in the computer world now, they are working on AI based services. They realize that there are huge copyright issues with AI so they recently announced.(New York Times) that they will indemnify their business uses for any copyright claims made on them for the use of IBM’s AI services

Sounds like a mature, cautious approach compared to some of the other AI players who are putting their products out on the Wild West internet, and waiting for the sh*to to hit the fan.
